Welcome/Failte
Richard moved to the Isle of Skye in 1981 following redundancy from his job in the central region of Scotland. He and his wife renovated an old croft house on the island in which they raised their three children.
In 1989 Richard bought his first camera, a manual Pentax SLR. This was later followed by an autofocus model. Then just prior to an extended visit to New Zealand in early 2003 he bought his first digital camera. Soon after this the Pentax was put away. Since then Richard has used a Konica/Minolta but now-a-days Richard uses a Nikon D80 to aesthetically explore and record his beloved Isle of Skye and a brief representation of his photography appears on this site. Included are images from New Zealand, Italy and the United Kingdom.
